Hello and welcome to the Ides of PFHT’s annual October Treasure Hunt. I’m glad you’re here and I hope you’re in the mood for some fun today.

Back in February, I presented The Clever Detective* when two-time Maggie winner Nicki Salcedo challenged us to write a modern fairy tale.
Now that’s it’s October and time for the Treasure Hunt, I thought the story deserved a sequel.
This time, I decided we’d go to my personal blog for the story. So to find the sequel, go to Linsey’s Diary.
And don’t forget to comment there, come back and comment here, and visit the embedded link to other blogs to increase your chances of winning the prize!

Good Job! I love your voice…the whimsical, sarcastic narrative that made me laugh.
Sandy
Yes, the sequel was really funny and clever. I really like your personal blog.
Marilyn
Thanks, Sandy. I’m cyber-blushing.

Thanks Marilyn. I love writing these characters. As I have time, I hope to write more adventures for them.
Hi Linsey – I posted. Fun sequel in a humorous and snarky voice that fits the story.
Great read, Linsey! I’m taking time to read for you and hemming a skirt at the same time. I need the skirt tonight and had to read and thank you for stopping by the Pink Fuzzy Slipper Writers blog
Good job, girl!
Late as almost always but going to have a look now.
Susan, not as late as me checking back in. Sorry about that but glad you had a look.
Dianna and Mary – thanks so much for the nice comments. And to Pink Fuzzy Slippers Writers and Barbara Monajem for participating in our Treasure Hunt!
I’m late, too, but your story was so much fun! Thanks for the chuckles!
Hi Pam. Late is fine. I’m almost always late, LOL. Glad I could give you some laughs.
