I’m rereading Linda Howard’s “Dying to Please.” It’s one of my favorite romantic suspense novels of all time.
I’m reading LORD JOHN AND THE PRIVATE MATTER by Diana Gabaldon. It’s clever, funny, intriguing and hard to put down.
I want to thank each & every person who told us about a good book they’re reading. Like Tami, I bought several of last month’s recommendations.
I’m currently reading BRIDGE OF SCARLET LEAVES by Kristina McMorris. In fact, I’ll be putting up a review of this book one Saturday in March.
Happy Reading!
I LOVE these!!!
I’m reading Crazy Sexy Diet by Kris Carr from the list above (Thanks Pam!) and Who Do, Voodoo by Rochelle Staab (which I won from commenting on another blog – awesome book so far). My son is currently reading Ashfall by Mike Mullin, a book that was featured on January’s Second Saturday Reviews. He LOVES it and as soon as he’s finished, I’m going to steal his Kindle and read it, too.
Anyone else reading these (or read), too?
Tami
Mary,
I also liked Lord John and the Private Matter — really anything Diana Gabaldon writes.
I did finish the complete Hunger Games Trilogy and loved every one of the books. Must reads. And I understand the movie is coming out in March.
The next book on my list is “The Marriage Plot,” by Jeffrey Eugenides. Don’t know anything about that, but someone recommended it to me.
Another great book that I read last fall but wasn’t on last month’s list is “Fall of Giants,” by Ken Follett. It’s the first in his Century Trilogy.
I love anything by Linda Howard. Thanks, Jane.
I just finished “The Chase” by Clive Cussler on my MP3 player. His description of the San Francisco earthquake and fire in 1906 made me feel like I was there.
I’m a readaholic, so I”ve read two books already this year, Bitter Black Kiss by Michelle Clay, Darker after Midnight by Lara Adrian. I’m currently reading “Taking Chase” by Lauren Dane, the 2nd book in The Chase Brother’s series!
I just finished one amazing debut novel, A Lady Awakened (Cecilia Grant), which was a refreshing departure from the standard Regency.
Getting ready to jump into another debut that has rave reviews, Manda Collins’ How to Dance with a Duke.
I’ve also been rereading some really fun Christie Ridgways set on Coronado in CA — Must Love Mistletoe and Not Another New Year’s Eve.
I’m honor to have Heart Surgeon, Hero …Husband? included in such a prestigious group of books.
