I picked up a few titles from Erica Spindler and enjoyed every one of them. I would recommend “Dead Run” and “In Silence.”
I finally got around to reading “The Outlander” by Diana Gabaldon. I loved, loved, LOVED it! Turns out is the first book in a series; everyone else probably knows that already, but it was news to me! Naturally, I can’t wait to find out what happens next!
I’m reading INKHEART right now by Cornelia Funke. It comes with a medieval curse for those who borrow books & don’t return them. I still believe books are precious even though they are now printed & not painstakingly hand written word by word.
I’m starting Pursuing Love by Karen Hall. I think it is going to be a good one.
I just finished A Taste of Desire by Beverley Kendall and it was great. Look for a book review coming soon!
Pam,
I love the Outlander Series. One of the best things about coming late to the party is that now you don’t have to wait for all of her books because they are about three years between books (or at least it seems that way to me). I’ve read every one of them, the main ones and the offshoots. So start reading them now.
Right now I’m reading Kill Shot by Vince Flynn. It’s a Thriller. I’ve read all of his books too.
Pam, Jamie Fraser is the world’s perfect man. 6’4″ in a kilt? Swoon!
I loved Meredith Duran’s latest historical, At Your Pleasure. Lots of angst and gorgeous writing, as always. She’s marvelous.
On the lighter side, I am hooked now on Darynda Jones’s grim reaper/Charley Davidson series. So much fun.
JB is right. Jamie Fraser is a hunk.I also just got Suzanne Brockmann’s Born to Darkness, which I will start reading soon.
I’m listening to Linda Howard’s “Burn” on audio. It’s fabulous. She continues to amaze me with her imaginative plots.
I’m currently reading My Wild Highlander by Vonda Sinclair
So good!
Marilyn, I just bought “Dragonfly in Amber” and hope to start it tonight! J.B., you are SO right about Jamie. And the love he shares with Claire, well, it’s just about perfect, too!
I’m reading Nauti Boy by Lora Leigh. She’s our luncheon speaker next month and I had never read her before.
Oh man! Lots of great books. I promise you my Kindle is filling up very fast.
I’m finishing up the book Inhale by Kendall Grey. Amazing book. I’ll do a review for it next week.
This book isn’t new, but if you like Southern fiction and are looking for a perfect example of a book that hooks you from the first sentence, get Deborah Smith’s THE CROSSROADS CAFE.
Thank you Mary for recommending THE RAKE AND THE RECLUSE!!! So sweet of you, now I’m smiling.
