Hi Marilyn,
I have no clue where this was taken….maybe Canada? or in our Rockies…say Colorado????? but it is absolutely beautiful.

Can’t wait to read your posts this month.

Looks like Canada’s Rockies :) …Banff, Jasper, Lake Louise area

Have to admit I haven’t been there for years, even though I live in BC. I must make a road trip soon!

I will announce where it is Monday morning. The posts about the location will be fun. So drop back by next Friday and every Friday in July.

Maxine Davis - July 4, 2014 - 10:14 am

It’s a beautiul picture, Marilyn. I guess I’ll say Colorado.

Piper - July 4, 2014 - 10:14 am

So lovely! It almost has be forgetting about the bugs that probably live down by that water….

I’ll announce it Monday but one of you is so close it’s frightening. Piper, there are no bugs. Too cold for them I guess. Maxine, the scenery on this place was so magnificent it was hard to choose which picture to post. Kathryn, thanks for commenting. You are so lucky to live there.

Congratulations. The winner is Kathryn Jane. Although Sandy guessed Canada, Kathryn was more specific. The photo was taken in the Canadian Rockies at a place called Emerald Lake. Actually on our trip to Western Canada, we stopped at three places called Emerald Lake. All were in the area around Lake Louise or between Lake Louise and Banff, so Kathryn was really right on the money. Kathryn, go to the top navigation bar and click on Contests, and then Winner, Blog Drawing to find out how to get your prize. Or click on Contact us and send an email. And put July contest winner in the email subject line. Thanks for your comment. Tune in this Friday and every Friday in July to find out more about our trip to the Canadian Rockies.
