(when you can do it yourself for free) bwahaha When the movie The Ring came out, we took our daughter to see it 7 days before her 16th birthday. (The 7-day reference will make sense if you've seen the movie) It scared her senseless, but that wasn't enough for me. Once we got home, hubby distracted her while I cut holes in a white trash bag for my head and arms, to resemble Samara's dress in the movie, combed my long hair to hang over my face, and snuck outside to the back deck. It was nearly midnight, and we live in the woods, so it was kind of creepy being outside after seeing a scary movie, but it was a sacrifice I was willing to make to torture my daughter. Hubby told her to feed our outdoor cat (on the back deck) and when she opened the door, I was out there doing Samara's creepy dead-walk. She screamed and slammed the door shut--locked ME outside in the creepy darkness--and laughed at me through the glass! lol I know. Payback. I deserved it. Another time, I tried to scare my sister after watching The Sixth Sense. When she went to the bathroom, I opened every drawer and cabinet in her kitchen (again, this won't make sense if you haven't seen the movie) and when she came out, she didn't even notice.
