Life is great for the Petit Fours and Hot Tamales crew.  Things are completely different from the first year we started blogging and we are incredibly proud of everything we’ve accomplished in such a short amount of time.

As a new feature for the blog this year, we thought we’d take a day each month and share some of the things we’re doing outside of the PF&HTs blog.  That designated day will be the fourth Saturday of each month.

We’d love for you to follow the links and take a peek at the PF&HTs crew and what they do outside of the blog.

Darcy Crowder ended 2011 with a bang with her first published short story, ‘Shine On, Harvest Moon,’ appearing in Homecoming In Mossy Creek.  This collection of stories was released November 2011 from BelleBooks and is the eighth novel in the acclaimed Mossy Creek Hometown Series.  “…continues the warm, witty and wise doings in a small Southern village you’ll want to call home. Sally Kilpatrick shared some awesome news this month.  She is now represented by Nikki Terpilowski of Holloway Literary Agency.  Yay Sally!!!  We can’t wait to see how 2012 plays out for you.

Marilyn Baron has had a GREAT January.  Her novel, The Edger, a humorous women’s fiction story she coauthored with her sister Sharon, an award-winning Florida artist, was released the week of January 16th.  So far, it has been featured in:

Linsey Lanier received some AWESOME fan e-mails from several different ladies in Australia.  Yay, Linsey!!!  Her book, Someone Else’s Daughter, was also featured on the You Gotta Read Reviews blog where the FANS get to judge the various book covers.  She came in second with 30% out of the 1,346 votes. Susan C. May had a SUPER year. Not only did she take on a new identity under the name, Susan Carlisle, but she also sold her first book to Harlequin Medical romance.  AND they also requested a second one. Then later in the year she received another three book deal.
